1.My
Annaprasan Ceremony
My Annaprasan ceremony was held with
pomp and splendor on March 25th 2007. About 100 people were invited to the ceremony followed by the reception. This invitation
card was designed by my Mamu (Partha)and the letter was composed by my Didu.I was clad in a red banarasi saree and a red churni
which my mummum got it from India, a mukut and a garland sent by Sudipmamu from Delhi, a pair of gold bangles, pair
of earrings and a pair of taga with gold and silver balls in it, all of which my mamu had sent from Shillong .Yes,I was
dressed like a bride, and Lala Dadu fed me the first morsel of rice grain, traditionally with 'ulu' and 'sankha dhwani' at
the background. I enjoyed the payesh,
the first time in my life. I was given a lot of stuff to be touched, I was confused totally but finally touched the pen. I
managed the crowd pretty well. Everybody enjoyed my annaprasan thoroughly. Te menu was Paneer and Veg pakora, Chutney, soft drinks, Matarpaneer, Raita, Polao, Naan, Salad, Malai
kofta, Tandoori chicken, Mutton curry, Gajar ka halwa, Payesh, Rasmalai, and a lot of sweetmeats which my Didu had
prepared and ofcourse paan was the last item.

On 30th May Mamma, Babi, Didu and
I went out for Toronto in Via rail. It was my first train ride. I enjoyed the ride very much. We stayed in Best western
hotel in Toronto and went out for sight seeing at the harbor front where we took a boat ride, the CN tower, the casaloma etc.
Next day we went to Niagara falls, and took the maid of the mist , went to the winery of the niagara on the lake and the Niagara
